Our Comfort Room & Wrapped in Love Program
St. André Health Care offers compassionate and holistic end-of-life care for patients and residents while extending support to the family during this difficult time. Our professional staff strives to ensure a gentle experience and is sensitive to the personal preferences of your loved one and your family. These preferences are fully incorporated into your specialized care plan. We will also work in collaboration with hospice, or other partners that you choose, to deliver the utmost in supportive services.
Our Comfort Room is designed especially for those reaching the final stages of life and has been lovingly furnished through a grant from the Sisters of Mercy. This private room includes reclining furniture and its own bath, complete with a shower and food cart service so that families may stay with their loved one as long as they wish.
St. André’s “Wrapped in Love” program has been developed with care and compassion to ensure the respect and dignity owed to our residents as they reach end-of-life.
